That’s my Sister yelling at me for not sending news her way about her Nieces.
Ok. Ok. Here I am.
What? Don’t want news about ME? Go straight to stories about the Girls? Tsk!
Okay then.
Let’s start with Spunky. We finally registered her to Kindie for 2010. I say finally because for Spunky, getting to Kindergarten seemed like a long wait. For the longest time she kept asking when was it her turn to go to Middle Sis’ school. While I was busy signing her registration papers at the School Principal’s office, she and her Sisters happily proceeded to cover the playground end to end with their adventures.
A former teacher of the Older Two happened to be there too and was quick to comment that “This One’s active huh?” Well, they ALL are when they’re not sick, but yeah, Spunky is one energy-bursting Little Girl. I told Teacher to feel free to make Spunky the Class Monitor. All that energy should be put to good use.
Of late, Middle Sis have been getting raves about her artwork from her teachers, and even from the folks at Church. Studying her work, I think it’s her attention to the little details that gets people talking. This drawing got her Science Teacher’s attention.

see the little seeds in the Papaya?

suddenly I can smell Durians!
I especially love to see her work with colours. I’m now keeping my eye out for people she can work with to help hone her skills. I’m sure she’d like it.
Which brings me to Big Sis. I was informed yesterday that her class teacher picked her to join the school’s dance group. It’s an extra curricular activity and one that’s not usually opened to Year 1’s and Year 2’s, but Big Sis somehow got picked anyhow. Practices begin this Friday with a culmination of an expected ’spectacular’ performance at the school’s year-end celebrations.
Looks like I’ll now join the club of Mommies and Daddies who hang out at the school all day accompanying their Kids that are engaged in a myriad of extra curricular activities. I’m looking to find a parent who loves their Kids to death to chat with.
As if that weren’t enough, we’ve now signed all Three Girls on for swim lessons at the Sports Complex, twice weekly.
Things getting a little busier around here now, can you tell?
Well I’m glad you finally asked about ME!
I’ve been baking, and learning about blogging, (hence some delay in posts. taking it all in yaknow…) and baking, and writing the minutes for Family Meetings, and baking.
Here’s one I made and gave away for Mother’s Day.

Carrot Cake w Cream Cheese frosting
I’m getting there. I will hold the perfect cake in my hand very soon. Just you wait.
Alrighty then. That’s all I got for ya for now.
You could stay tuned or you know, get on Skype when I get on!
And THIS is the only Idol recap of the Top 3 (Top 3!) that I was able to get my hands on for the day.
Fingers in lotsa pies right now see.
Have a good day!
