After an activity filled Easter and post-Easter, this week’s lessons fell mostly around Problogger’s 31 Days to Build a Better Blog Challenge.
I learned that in the world of ‘pro’ blogging, I am what is called the Toddler Blogger.
Despite the fact that I started blogging in 2004, the world of ‘pro’ blogging is a million miles away from just updating friends and family about the latest happenings of our home. I have SO MUCH more to learn from it all.
In the course of learning however, I ‘met’ many stay-at-home Mommies like myself who are making waves out there, and I have enjoyed every single one of their blogs. (Like the owner of THIS blog Carnival.
) They have been helpful, informative, endearing and at the very least, ‘takes me out’ of the four walls of my home and the loads of laundry for a while. And all the talk of laundry among Blogger Mommies this week make me want to revamp MY laundry corner!
Blogging for a stay-at-home Mommy like me connects me to the world wide web. That, is a vast ocean of resource, information and connection.
It’s no wonder then that Mommy Blogs Are The Blogs To Watch this season. I hope mine will count among them sometime.
So, go ahead, connect with Musings to see what She’s learned this week.
Thanks for sharing the link! I’m off to check it out. I, too, have loved meeting the moms I’ve met through blogging. My husband calls them my imaginary friends.
Hi Amy. Thanks for dropping by. So glad to have you visit.
Haha! Isn’t it great though how ‘connected’ we are with each other without having to travel out of our continents!
