Bukan apa, saya ni approach blogging mcm journalism; if the man doesn’t bite the dog, there’s no story to tell. :-p

Anyway, here’s something Miss D asked me today.

“Mommy, when did Daddy win all these trophies..?”

She meant these…

There are loads more of these where they came from (berkotak-kotak bah, medals lain lagi tuh..) back at my Mum-in-law’s house. The Hubby played plenty of Sports in his younger days, from Soccer, Track & Field, Badminton, Bowling.. Darts pun dia pandai tuh.. (selalu tunjuk ’skill’ di Pub.. :-p)

One day when I was at Mum-in-law’s house, I thought to take some with us to our own home, as reminders to the Children of a part of The Hubby’s history that has made him the Daddy that they know and love.

I remember asking him of the many that there were, which would he choose to bring back with us to our home. He didn’t think for very long when he reached for this one…

Told me he was the only non chinese-speaking sino-native playing soccer on the field that day but he went home with it.

In the midst of all those reminders of the great past, there stands a humble little one that belongs to Mommy.

Sia ingat lagi tu. Nyanyi duet sama si Lim Chong Han (tidak tau di mana sudah dia…) lagu ‘The Right Combination’ (Seiko & Mark Wahlberg) and ‘Mulanya DiSini’ (Freedom). Itu pun menang Runner-Up ja. Winner was The Jo Macs (pun tidak tau di mana sudah diorang..).

Bah. Itu ja.
