Ok, I guess I should update on what it’s been like for us three weeks into the new year. ;-p
Miss D’s learned much since starting Year 1 formally. She did fall asleep in class on the first day of school. She related that she just couldn’t keep her eyes open! Hehe… Belum biasa bangun awal sangat bah that time. She was Ok from day two onwards.
AND she has also learned to memorise Daddy’s handphone number as well as discovered the use of public phones. She has since been making roughly 20 phone calls a day to Daddy when at home and attempted one call from the public phone at school, which was unsuccessful, resulting in her losing 50 cents. ;-p Her next goal is to memorise Mommy’s handphone number.
Miss Mel’s command of Mandarin has picked up and she is quite pleased about it. She loves drawing & painting and is very good with colours. She has matured in many ways too, especially in her interaction with Spunky, which I suspect had something to do with being out of Big Sis’ shadow at least for half the day.
Our conversations in the car on the 20 minute drive to Kindergarten is precious.
The rambunctious youngest one keeps Mommy REALLY busy at home! Spunky takes cooking utensils out of kitchen drawers, sings songs she made up loudly complete with gestures and actions, and tries on many pieces of folded laundry. Half my time is just picking up after her. ;-p And yet, the moments that she makes me smile in the day outnumber the times she has me pulling out my hair. Just can’t stay mad at this One for very long.
)
I shan’t bore everyone with MY daily routine but I would say that I’m feeling a little irony here, cos I had a list of things I wanted to achieve for the home once I came on full time, but I haven’t crossed off even one item yet. ;-p
There is a highlight to my day though. It’s when Daddy comes home. He has less chores to do these days, so more time to touch base with Mommy. It’s the best thing.
So in summary, so far so good.

Here’s something that got me laughing out loud!

I'm Didi. Housewife and Mom of 3. Desperate sometimes. Most times blessed.
