Super Duper Christmas

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007
Christmas.

Comes with a message of the greatest Love of all; Peace with God, with others and with ourselves; and Hope for the future.

In our home, we have the tradition of a sit down western set dinner on Christmas eve. Before we start dinner, we will go round the table and each one is given the opportunity to share about the one thing that they are thankful to the Lord for in the past year.

For me, I am most thankful for the friendship that I have with my Home Group members, members of the Worship Ministry, many Church folks, my office co-leagues and more recently with members of Pulse. Their friendship is a blessing.

On top of that of course, I thank God for my loving & caring Husband and my beautiful Daughters.

Have a Blessed Christmas everyone. And in the words of a song Miss D performed at the Church Christmas Play, “Have a Super Duper Christmas with Jesus this year, super duper Christmas spreading good cheer!”

I’m Coming Home

Thursday, December 6th, 2007

It is said that to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

I believe my time with the Office has come to the end. The reasons I came in and stayed for as long as I did are no longer there.

It is now time for me to focus on my family for the next chapter of my life. This next season, as has been told before, will all come to an end eventually. And so, this is my carpe diem.

Come 2008, I will join the Stay At Home Mommies ‘league’. As with every endeavour on unchartered waters, I am both excited and fearful about what the future holds. But I am certainly looking forward to it.

So I’m coming Home, cos home is where my Heart is.
