Actually, it’s Orientation Week for Year 1 Students of 2008.
It’s Miss D’s First experience in the new environment. And the First time she put on the all too familiar blue and white pinafore that represents Primary School. Needless to say, when I saw her in her full gear, my heart was warm and a speck of tear formed at the edge of my eye. :-p
Day One was pleasant. Dan had no problem reporting for class despite all instructions being in Chinese. There was one short uncomfortable moment when one little boy cried after his mom left him, but his cries toned down when Teacher took him to sit nearer to her desk and next to a little girl. Poor guy cried again the next day. Otherwise, all was well in class and remained that way for the rest of the week.

Good thing was, this is Yvonne from another class in Miss D’s Kindie. Ada juga lah kawan yang kenal…
This is her class partner, lunch buddy and ‘bodyguard’ Timothy. He made it his business to follow Miss D everywhere.

School in REAL-LIFE begins come January 2008!
