Been Thinking About…

Sunday, April 16th, 2006

Moving my blog to Yahoo 360.

I started blogging as a way to keep in touch with family and friends around the region and abroad. Over time, I was more open to share my views with the world wide web.

Now, this little space of mine on the web has become too open for comfort. The long silences in between wasn’t just because I had nothing to talk about nor because I didn’t have the time. Plenty was bloggable, but some weren’t suitable.

So family and friends, Yahoo 360 okay for you?

Update

Monday, April 10th, 2006

Ok, time to update everyone on the happenings at Home.

Firstly, Spunky is 1! We had a small party for her at home. Here’s my cheery little One Year Old playing with a friend.

Then, my brother and his family is back in town, and staying with me for the time being. Miss D particularly loved the fact that Cousin Ashley’s around. And when they’re ALL together, begegar rumah!

Here they are getting ready to go to church. Their dress code was white batik, from Bali, which they all got from aunty Nonie.

Then there was Miss D’s birthday at Kindie. Even today, when I picked her up from Kindie, she was given a gift from a friend. When I commented that wow, yet another one? She remarked, “Because they all liked my party!” Hehe.. Here she is with the cake I made her.

And here she is enjoying the cake with her classmates.

We took her to Pizza Hut in the evening for dinner, and Nana and Yi Yi came too. Love this shot of her and Yi Yi.

All in all, this past week has been eventful. Busy but good.

And maybe because of all the activities here and there, Cool Daddy and I both have sore throats and speak with a croak.. hehe..

Jenny

Wednesday, April 5th, 2006

The girls have an invisible err.. aunt/friend called Jenny. Sometimes Jenny is ‘aunty Jenny’, other times she’s just Jenny. Sometimes, Miss Mel is Jenny, other times Miss D is Jenny.

And they have very interesting conversations and adventures together. Like one time, Jenny came to visit and brought a cousin, err.. ‘Curly’.. don’t know if related to Larry and Moe. *eyes rolling*

Sometimes I wonder whether they got the name from my sis-in-law’s cousin in Indonesia, whose name is Jenny, and who came to KK for a visit some time ago.

Interesting kan? ;-) )
